10 civilians killed in explosions in Ghazni, Kandahar

At least seven civilians have lost their lives in a mine explosion in Qara Bagh district of eastern Ghazni Province, according to initial reports.
The incident occurred today morning when a vehicle carrying civilians hit a roadside mine, provincial governor spokesman Wahedullah Juma Zada said.
Women and children are among the dead, local officials say. The Taliban have not commented on the incident.
In a separate report, a car bomb explosion in Shah Walikoot district of southern Kandahar killed three civilians and injured two others.
