The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) announced Thursday that 101 COVID-19 patients had died in the past 24 hours.

2,313 new cases of the coronavirus were identified and 301 were recovered during this period, the ministry said.

According to the latest statistics, the total number of people infected with the coronavirus in the country has reached 98,844, of which 3,943 have died.

Meanwhile, in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, Kabul Municipality has temporarily suspended the city bus that operates on the Karte-e-Naw and Ahmad Shah Baba Mina routes.
