At least 13 people uprising forces and an army solider were killed in Taliban attacks in Takhar Province, provincial security officials said.

The Taliban carried out attacks on four outposts of people uprising forces in Lala Gozar village of Khwaja Bahawuddin district and engaged in fierce fighting with the forces, Provincial Police Spokesman Khalil Asir said.

13 people uprising forces and one army soldier were killed in the attack. The Taliban also suffered casualties during the firefight, Asir added.
