Sixteen security forces have been killed in a Taliban aggressive attack in the Chesht-e-Sharif district of western Herat province.

Sources in Chesht-e-Sharif district said the Taliban fighters carried out aggressive attack on a security checkpoint in the district.

Sources have also warned that the district will completely fall to the Taliban if reinforcement is not sent.
