17 Afghan forces freed from Taliban prison in Kunduz

The Afghan National Directorate of Security (NDS) reported to have released 17 Afghan security forces from a Taliban prison in Kunduz Province.
Commander of the 09 special unit of the NDS, Safiullah Mohammadi, said that the Afghan army forces were freed after a special operation conducted in Khan Abad district.
More than 60 Afghan soldiers had been freed from a Taliban prison in Badghis Province following an operation launched by Afghan Special Forces several weeks ago.
