At least 11 Taliban insurgents were killed and injured in an operation conducted by afghan security forces in southern western Kandahar Province.

205 Corps in a released statement said that eight Taliban insurgents were killed during and three others got injured in an aerial operation in Shah Wali Koot district of the province.

Afghan security forces also neutralized 45 planted mines during the operation, the statement added. Taliban have not made any comment on this yet.

In a separate operation, 11 Taliban fighters were killed and injured in Poshtrud district of western Farah Province.
