28 Taliban fighters killed south Afghanistan

At least 258 Taliban fighters were killed in southern Kandahar Province, the Ministry of Defense (MoD) said in a statement on Tuesday.
The Taliban fighters were killed during an aerial raid conducted by Afghan security forces in Dand district of Kandahar Province, the statement added.
Four other Taliban fighters were wounded during the raid.
The Taliban have not yet commented on the report.
