30 armed Taliban fighters killed in northern provinces

At least 30 Taliban fighters were killed in Jowzjan and Sar-e Pol provinces during separate military operations, 209 Military Corps reported on Thursday (14 November).
Spokesman for the 209 Military Corps Hanif Rezai says 22 Taliban fighters were killed in Sayyad district of Sar-e Pol province and seven others got injured during an operation.
Similarly, five Taliban fighters were killed in an operation conducted in Darzab district of Jowzjan Province, Rezai added.
Taliban has so far not commented on the report.
