At least 30 Taliban fighters have been killed in Balkh and Jowzjan provinces during Afghan security forces operations, according to 209 Shaheen Military Corps.

Ten Taliban fighters were killed and five others were wounded in an airstrike on a Taliban hideout in Yangi Qala village of Chemtal district of Balkh province, it said in a statement.

The statement added that 19 Taliban insurgents were killed and 15 others were wounded in airstrikes by security forces in Jowzjan province.

The operation also destroyed a Humvee, three vehicles, six motorcycles, and two Taliban hideouts, the statement further added.

The Taliban have not yet commented on the report.
