At least 30 Taliban fighters were killed and injured in ground and air operations conducted by Afghan forces in northern Balkh Province.

The 209 Shaheen Military Corps reported that at least eight Taliban fighters were killed and two others including a key commander of the Taliban were injured in Dawlat Abad and Balkh districts during ground operations.

Separately, six Taliban fighters were killed and four others were injured in an aerial raid in Zari district of Balkh Province.

The Taliban group has not yet commented on the report.
