Police in northern Samangan province of Afghanistan has seized and recovered 50 kilograms of drugs from a truck, according to the provincial police spokesman Munir Rahimi.

Rahimi added that the amount of drugs was placed in a truck and the smugglers attempted to transfer it from Baghlan to northern Balkh Province.

Police has also arrested three individuals in connection with the case, Rahimi further added.
