The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) reported Monday that 56 patients had died due to Covid-19 in past 24 hours.

The ministry said it had collected 4,671 suspected samples in the past 24 hours of which 1,582 people were infected with the virus and 376 recovered.

According to new statistics, the total number of people infected with the Covid-19 in the country has reached 82,326, of which 3,251 have died.

The Ministry of Health estimates that the number of people with the coronavirus is three times higher than official figures, so the government has imposed new restrictions on civil servants.
