Abdullah Abdullah, who in accordance with a political agreement with president Ghani, has a 50 percent share in the government has reacted to the dismissal of Interior Minister Mohammad Massoud Andarabi.

“The decision to dismiss Andarabi was violation of the agreement signed in May 2020 and against the interests of the country in the current situation”, he asserted.

President Ghani on Friday in two separate decrees ousted Interior Minister Massoud Andarabi and appointed Hayatullah Hayat as acting head of the ministry, and also appointed Mohammad Yassin Zia as acting head of the Ministry of National Defense.
