Chairman of the High Council for National Reconciliation (HCNR), Abdullah Abdullah, met with Uzbekistan President, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, in Tashkent.

During the meeting, Mirziyoyev, promised his country was fully committed to working together to ensure lasting peace and stability in Afghanistan, Sapidar said in a statement.

Mr. Mirzayev stressed that Tashkent attaches great importance to its relations with Afghanistan and is also ready to cooperate in the areas of regional connectivity, railway construction and the fight against Covid-19.
