Afghan Chief Executive Officer Dr Abdullah Abdullah has described president Ghani’s seven-point peace plan as “unrealities and a wishlist.”

“To be honest, nobody has taken that so-called seven-point plan as a plan… it’s rather a wishlist,” Abdullah said in an interview with AFP. “Nobody is taking it seriously — neither the people of Afghanistan, nor anybody,” he added.

Afghan Presidential Palace has responded to Chief Executive Officer Dr Abdullah Abdullah’s slamming of president Ghani’s peace plan.

“Pres. Ghani’s seven-point plan has clear objectives towards achieving sustainable peace. It derives from the national consensus and the result of consistent & relentless work of Pres. Ghani in the past 5 yrs to end this senseless war,” Presidential Spokesman Sediq Seddiqi wrote on his twitter account.

Seddiqi added that this plan ensures suitable outcomes of the future steps in the process, and it enshrines principles of inclusivity, sustainability, and dignity.
