Afghan forces inflict heavy casualties on Taliban in Baghlan Province

Nine armed Taliban fighters including a number of their commanders were killed during an operation conducted by Afghan security forces in Dand-e Ghori district of Baghlan Province, the Afghan defense ministry said in a statement.
25 other Taliban fighters were injured during the operation, the statement added.
The Taliban has not commented on the report so far.
