Afghan forces kill 25 Taliban fighters in Kandahar

Afghan security forces have killed and injured 33 Taliban fighters during a military operation in southern Kandahar Province.
Spokesman for 205 Atal Military Corps in south, Yahya Alawi, said 25 Taliban militants were killed and eight others were wounded during the operation.
Afghan security forces also neutralized 21 mines following the operation.
The Taliban have not yet commented on the report.
