Afghan forces kill 29 Taliban fighters in Logar

29 Taliban fighters were killed during an overnight raid conducted by Afghan security forces in Zarghoon village of Logar Province, the Ministry of Interior Affairs said in a statement on Saturday.
Six other key members of the group were injured during the raid, the statement added.
The statement went on to say that three Taliban bases were destroyed and 53 landmines were neutralized in the raid.
The Taliban has not yet commented on the report.
