Afghan security forces repelled Taliban aggressive attacks in Uruzgan and Faryab provinces, the ministry of defense said in a statement.

24 Taliban fighters were killed in Uruzgan Province after Taliban launched attacks on parts of Chahar Chino district of the province, the statement said.

Afghan security forces also repelled Taliban attacks on several security outposts in Khwaja Sabz Posh district of Faryab Provinc, killed three Taliban fighters and injuring 14 others during the firefight.

Taliban have not yet commented on the topic.
