Afghan security forces on Friday rebuffed Taliban aggressive attacks on Badghis and Farah provinces, the defense ministry’s statement said.

According to the statement, the Taliban attempted to carry out attacks on parts of Bala Murghab district of Badghis and center of Farah Province, but failed to achieve their objective.

The attacks killed and injured 32 people in Farah and Badghis provinces, the statement added.

The Taliban have not yet commented on the report.
