Afghan ministry of defense said on Thursday (24 October) that ANA forces have recaptured Dand-e Ghori district of northern Baghlan Province from Taliban fighters after three years.

” Afghan forces cleared the district of the Taliban during an operation conducted last night in the district,” the ministry added in a released statement.

According to the ministry, Afghan security forces’ operations are underway in various districts of Baghlan. Taliban have suffered heavy casualties in the operations, the ministry further added.
