Afghan forces retake district after four years

Afghan security forces have managed to cleanup Sorkhduz district of southern Helmand Province after four years, according to local officials.
Provincial Security Chief Mohammad Rahim Noorzai, said retaking of the district would pave the ground for ensuring of security in other areas.
Afghan government will build a new military base and deploy fresh troops to the district, Noorzai further added.
