Afghan minister meets heads of charity foundations in Norway

On the sideline of the Oslo summit, acting foreign minister of Afghanistan, Amir Khan Muttaqi, has met with heads of several charity organizations in Norway.

During the meeting, heads of the organizations promised to cooperate in the fields of health, agriculture and livestock, mine clearance and education with Afghanistan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

Muttaqi told the participants that security is ensured in Afghanistan.

On the other hand, Nigel Casey, the British Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan, said that the country had entered a new phase with Afghanistan.

The Foreign Ministry spokesman tweeted that the British official and his accompanying delegation, during a meeting with Amir Khan Muttaqi in Norway, also stressed that his country was in discussions with the World Bank to work on health, education and wages in Afghanistan.

During the meeting, Muttaqi said that a new political phase should be developed through co-operation so that the new government could address the problems of Afghans.
