Afghan political pundit survives assassination attempt

Afghan political commentator, Ahmad Saeedi, has survived an assassination attempt.
Mr. Saeedi wrote on his Facebook page that one of his colleagues had been wounded in an attack by unidentified gunmen.
The Ministry of Interior Affairs announced on Tuesday that an individual was injured when unknown armed men opened fire on a security outpost near Mr. Saeedi’s residence in third Makroreyan area.
In a separate report, a civilian sustained injury in a mine explosion at Kabul’s 5th security precinct.
