Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani and Tajikistan President Afghan,Emomali Rahmon, held a telephone conversation on Saturday.

The two presidents discussed issues concerning the Afghan citizens who had taken refuge in Tajikistan due to the war and conflict in Afghanistan, the Presidential Palace said in a statement.

President Ghani said in the phone call that Afghanistan is responsible to its citizens and will take the necessary and urgent measures to address their needs as soon as possible.

On the other hand, Tajik president has called the current situation in Afghanistan worrying.
