Afghan VP vows to take revenge of officer’s blood killed in Kabul
10 Feb 2021
Afghan first vice-president vowed Wednesday to track down those responsible for killing Mohammadzai Kochi, security chief of Kabul’s fifth district.
Saleh wrote on his Facebook page that “he will not forget and we will take revenge”.
An explosion in Baraki area of Kabul on Wednesday morning killed two including Mr. Kochi and wounded another.
Although the first vice president blamed the Taliban for the killing of Kabul’s fifth district security chief, the group has not yet commented.
Meanwhile, the High Council for National Reconciliation (HCNR) has condemned today’s attacks in Kabul, saying that continuation of these attacks shows that “the enemies of the Afghan people are beating the drums of war and bloodshed and have no commitment or belief in peace and reconciliation.”
