Afghanistan records 70 new COVID-19 cases

Afghanistan on Wednesday reported it had recorded 70 new coronavirus cases in various provinces, bringing the tally to 784.
Public Health Ministry announced that 31 new cases were registered in Kabul, 22 cases in Herat, three cases in Kandahar, three cases in Ghazni, two cases in Wardak, two cases in Kunar, two cases in Nangarhar, two cases in Nimruz, one case in Faryab, one case in Uruzgan and one case in Baghlan province within the past 24 hours.
According to the ministry’s figure, out of 784 cases, 23 people have so far died of the virus and 40 others recovered.
