Afghanistan registers 664 new cases, tally surges to 24,766

Afghanistan’s Public Health Ministry reported 664 new positive cases of the COVID-19 out of 1,211 samples tested in the past 24 hours.
According to the ministry, Kabul reported highest positive cases of 316.
A total of 20 patients have died due to the disease over the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 471, while 524 have recovered, taking the total number of recovered ones to 4725.
So far, 24766 people have been infected with the coronavirus countrywide.
