Afghanistan reports 50 deaths from Covid-19 in past 24 hours

The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) said Saturday that 50 patients had died of coronavirus in the past 24 hours.
Out of 4,544 samples, 1,379 individuals have tested positive and 375 have recovered, the ministry added.
According to new statistics, the total number of people infected with the COVID-19 in the country has reached 80,615, of which 3,195 have died.
This comes as the presidential palace has approved some of the proposals of the health ministry to impose more restrictions to curb the coronavirus.
