Afghanistan reports 58 new COVID-19 cases

The total number of COVID-19 cases in Afghanistan has jumped to 665, with 58 new positive cases recorded within the past 24 hours.
Public Health Ministry Spokesman Wahidullah Mayar said authorities recorded the new cases in various provinces including capital Kabul.
He added 28 cases were registered in Kandahar, 13 cases in Kabul, seven cases in Helmand, six cases in Nimruz, three in Takhar and one case in Kunduz province.
Meanwhile, Herat diagnostic lab reported to have recorded seven new cases out of 28 suspected samples.
21 people have so far died of the COVID-19 and 38 others recovered, according to the health ministry.
