Afghanistan reports five more COVID-19 positive cases

Five more positive cases of COVID-19 have been registered in Herat, Logar and Badghis provinces.
Spokesman for the ministry of health, Wahid Mayar, said that the number of positive cases had reached 21 countrywide.
“Twelve positive cases have been registered in Herat, three in Samangan, two in Logar and four in Badghis, Kapisa, Balkh and Daikundi provinces,”Mayar added.
In the meantime, Indian prime minister told a video conference of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) that COVID-19 required common action.
President Ashraf Ghani has also demanded for creation of a working group by the SAARC and stressed the importance of keeping borders closed to prevent the virus spreading further.
