Afghanistan, Uzbekistan willing to expand educational cooperation

Uzbekistan is seeking to upgrade the capacity of university students in Afghanistan.
A number of university lecturers from Uzbekistan have paid a visit to Mazar-e-Sharif City on Monday ( April 15 ), saying that based on an agreement reached between leaders of the two countries in providing educational grounds, they are seeking to expand the level of cooperation with universities in Afghanistan.
Mir Adel Abdul Razaq, Consul General of Uzbekistan in Balkh says that earlier, students and university lecturers from both countries cooperated between themselves and even visited each other countries frequently.
Mr. Adel further added that the ground for exchanging views between students from Afghanistan and Uzbekistan will be paved in the near future as well.
Meanwhile, Mokamel Alokozay, Balkh university principal says the university is willing to have joint cooperation with Uzbekistan in various fields.
On the other hand, the Uzbek language department of Balkh Province has proposed and shared a plan with the visiting university lecturers from Uzbekistan aimed at upgrading capacities of students and providing them with their required books.
