Afghanistan’s COVID-19 cases reach 3,563

Afghan Health Ministry on Thursday reported it registered 171 more positive cases of COVID-19 out of 612 suspected samples.
According to the ministry, 45 cases have been registered in Herat, 34 in Kabul, 18 in Paktia, 16 in Kandahar, 15 in Badghis, 13 in Bamyan, 10 in Ghazni, 9 in Wardak, 3 in Panjshir, 3 in Badakhshan, 2 in Zabul, 2 in Logar and 1 case in Khost Province.
Two individuals have died due to the virus in Balkh and Logar provinces, while eight others have recovered in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 106 and recovered to 468.
