Afghanistan’s COVID-19 cases rise to 6,402

349 people have been infected with COVID-19 in Afghanistan in the past 24 hours.
Deputy Health Minister Wahid Majroh told a press conference on Saturday that 349 cases have been registered out of 1113 suspected samples in 17 provinces in Afghanistan.
According to the ministry, 126 cases have been recorded in Kabul, 56 cases in Paktia, 31 cases in Balkh, 37 cases in Nangarhar, 29 cases in Herat, 11 cases in Baghlan, 10 cases in Kandahar, 10 cases in Logar, 8 cases in Sar-e Pol, 8 cases in Laghman, 7 cases in Takhar, 5 cases in Badghis, 5 cases in Jowzjan, 3 cases in Kunduz, 1 case in Panjshir, 1 case in Wardak and 1 case in Bamyan province.
15 patients have died of the virus and 33 others have recovered in the past 24 hours.
The total number of COVID-19 cases have reached 6,402 in the country of which 168 patients have lost their lives and 778 others have recovered.
