Afghanistan’s COVID-19 cases surge to 484

Afghanistan has confirmed 40 new positive cases of COVID-19 within the past 24 hours, bringing the tally to 484.
Public Health Minister Firuzuddin Firuz told a press conference on Thursday that 40 positive cases have been registered in Kabul diagnostic lab within the past 24 hours.
The new cases were recorded in Kabul, Nimruz, Kandahar, Paktia, Bamyan, Balkh and Logar provinces.
So far, 15 people died of the COVID-19 in Afghanistan and 32 others recovered, according to the health ministry.
