Afghanistan’s COVID-19 cases surge to 714

Afghanistan on Tuesday reported 49 new positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the total to 714.
Publish Health Minister Firuzuddin Firuz told a press conference that the ministry recorded 18 positives cases in Kabul, 15 cases in Kandahar, Six cases in Balkh, Four cases in Herat, Four cases in Ghazni and two cases in Nangarhar province.
23 people have died of the COVID-19 in Afghanistan so far, while 40 others recovered.
