Afghanistan’s COVID-19 cases surpass 400

Afghanistan’s Public Health Ministry on Tuesday said that the total coronavirus positive cases in the country stood at 423, after it registered 56 new cases within the past 24 hours.
The new cases were registered in Herat, Kabul, Kandahar, Balkh and Nangarhar provinces, health ministry spokesman, Wahidullah Mayar told reporters at a press conference.
Out of 423 cases, 11 have so far died of the virus and 18 others recovered, the health ministry spokesman further added.
