Afghanistan’s Public Health Ministry has registered 546 new positive cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

According to the ministry, the new cases have been registered in 18 provinces, of these, Kabul and Herat have recorded the highest number of incidents.

Also, 21 patients have died of the virus and 330 others recovered in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 569 and recovered ones to 8,292, the ministry added.
