Afghanistan’s COVID-19 total reach 25,527

Afghan Public Health Ministry on Monday reported 761 new positive cases of the novel coronavirus in the past 24 hours.

According to the ministry, the new cases have been registered in 17 provinces.

237 cases have been registered in Kabul, 113 cases in Kunduz, 103 cases in Logar, 93 cases in Takhar, 37 cases in Parwan, 30 cases in Wardak, 25 cases in Kandahar, 22 cases in Nangarhar, 16 cases in Panjshir, 15 cases in Bamyan, 15 cases in Paktia, 14 cases in Baghlan, 12 cases in Uruzgan, 11 cases in Badakhshan, 10 cases in Daykundi, 4 cases in Nuristan and 4 cases in Kunar province, the ministry added.

Also, 7 patients have died due to the virus, bringing to the total number to 478. 365 patients have also recovered, taking to total number of recovered ones to 5090. The total number of people infected with the COVID-19 has reached 25,527.
