Attack on Kabul University ended

The Interior Ministry said on Monday the attack on Kabul University was ended after six hours as a result 19 people were killed and 22 others were injured.
A group of assailants attacked Kabul University at 11:00 AM local time on Monday and entered the university’s compound through its eastern gate following an explosion.
Hours after the incident, the Ministry of Higher Education announced all students were rescued.
Some students who survived the attack say after entering Kabul University, the attackers started shooting at teachers and students.
Some social media users also published photos showing students were shot dead by armed assailants.
The Interior Ministry said all three assailants involved in the attack were gunned down. Spokesman for the ministry said 19 people were killed and 22 others were wounded in the attack.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack, Taliban denied any involvement, but the government accuse the group of being the main perpetrator.
Last week, a group of assailants attacked an educational center in the capital Kabul that killed 25 civilians and injured 51 others.
