Blast injures 22 in northern Balkh Province

At least 22 people have been injured in an explosion in Mazar-e-Sharif City, the capital of northern Balkh Province.
Provincial Police Spokesman Adel Shah Adel says the explosion occurred after a magnetic mine placed in a bicycle went off at about 9:00 a.m local time in morning at Alokozai intersection.
Officials of Abu Ali Sina-e Balkhi regional hospital say that 22 wounded including six police officers, three women and a child have been transferred to the hospital for treatment.
No group has claimed responsibility for the blast so far.
