A car bombing in eastern Nangarhar Province has killed three people and injured five others.

The explosive-laden vehicle went off when a car carrying a local police commander named Mir Zaman in Shiwa district of Nangarhar province was passing from the area.

The car bombing left three people including the local commander killed and five others injured, local officials said.

No group has claimed responsibility for the explosion so far.
