Local officials in eastern Laghman Province say that a car bomb explosion in Alishing district of the province claimed the lives of at least two people and injured 26 others including students of a religious Madrasa.

Provincial Governor Spokesman Asadullah Dawlatzai said that the blast occurred on Wednesday morning near Alishing district building.

Taliban has claimed responsibility for the explosion.
