Child rescued from grip of kidnappers in Takhar

Police in Takhar Province says it has rescued a child from the clutches of kidnappers.
The three-year-old child was abducted on the first day of Eid-al Fitr from the city of Taloqan.
Provincial police spokesman, Khalil Asir, said the child was freed following an operation.
Three men including a woman have been arrested in connection with the kidnapping.
