Civilians suffer casualties in mine blast in Kunduz

At least five civilians were killed and injured in a roadside mine explosion in northern Kunduz province.
The explosion occurred when a vehicle carrying civilians hit a roadside mine in Ali Abad district, leaving two civilians killed and three others injured, Ali Abad district chief, Amanuddin Quraishi, said.
Taliban fighters had placed the mine, he added.
The Taliban have not commented on the report.
