COVID-19 cases rise to 299 in Afghanistan

The total number of coronavirus positive cases in Afghanistan has risen to 299, according to the Afghan health ministry.
“Over the past 24 hours, 25 cases have been registered in Kabul, Herat, Samangan, Ghowr, Nimruz, Balkh, Kunduz, Faryab, Ghazni and Logar provinces, “Health Ministry Spokesman Wahidullah Mayar said.
The ministry further added that out of 299 positive cases, seven people have died of the virus and 12 others have recovered so far.
