COVID-19 recoveries exceed active cases in Afghanistan

Afghanistan’s Public Health Ministry has registered 351 new positive cases of the COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
Deputy Spokesman for Public Health Ministry Masumah Ja’fari, told media outlets that the total number of patients infected with COVID-19 has reached 30,967.
2,004 COVID-19 patients have recovered in the past 24 hours, taking the total to 12,588.
In meantime, some Afghan citizens criticize the government in particular the health ministry’s strategy in the fight against the COVID-19.
Health officials also urge people to be cautious despite a reduction in the number infected people and take health instructions seriously.
