Covid-19 threat in Afghanistan; 24 died in past 24 hours

24 patients have died to coronavirus in Afghanistan in the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) said Monday.
Out of 2,647 suspected samples, 628 were tested positive and 260 were recovered, the ministry added.
According to new statistics, the total number of people infected with the corona virus in the country has reached 66,903, of which 2,836 have died and 56,295 have been recovered.
The ministry of health on Sunday expressed concern about a 50% increase in Covid-19 cases in the country and urged people to take health measures seriously.
