One person was killed and two others were injured as a result of domestic violence in northern Balkh province of Afghanistan.

A man killed his brother-in-law and injured his mother-in-law and father-in-law in the Dehdadi district of Balkh province yesterday evening, provincial police spokesman, Adel Shah Adel, said.

The perpetrator has fled the area and is being chased by police, Adel added.
