Eight security forces were killed in a Taliban attack in Khas district of Uruzgan Province.

The Taliban carried out an attack on security outpost of Afghan forces, leaving eight killed and three others injured, provincial governor spokesman, Ahmad Shah Sahel, said.

Three Taliban fighters were killed and five others got injured in Afghan forces’ retaliatory attack, he added.

The Taliban has not yet commented on the report.
